Popular Ghanaian female singer, Sefadzi Abena Amesu, known in the showbiz circles as S3fa has revealed a moment on micro-blogging site X formerly (Twitter), which left her emotionally drained for several months.
According to the “E Choke” hitmaker, she decided to stay away from the platform after a user made some unsavory comments towards her personality which suggested she has no talent and was wasting away resources of her record label owned by rapper D-Black.
According to S3fa, such harsh comments on social media really broke her spirit and affected her creativity because she puts in a lot of work in her songs and brand as a whole.
“You people don’t know what goes on behind the scenes… you don’t know how much work I put behind the scenes,” she said.
“Just beauty, no brains was very disturbing at a point…,” S3fa said in a radio interview with Doreen Avio on Hitz FM.
She noted that negative comments from people online in the long run gives her the strength to continue building a brand that will shine for people to know and come to appreciate as pure talent.
“That was when the vim and the vigor came that you have to do more,” she said
Sefa is currently promoting her new single titled “Busy Body” featuring Afro-Dancehall star Stonebwoy.
