The 2022 budget is projected to take the center stage of discussions at the parliament house today.
At last Fridays sitting on November 26, parliament mainly made up of the minority rejected the budget stating that it only worsens the plight of the ordinary Ghanaians; however, the majority in a statement said the rejection was null and void as the appropriate number of members needed to either approve or reject was not present.
The minority caucus has followed up with a statement asking the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta to amend the budget and exclude the E-Levy.
Its is highly expected from the house a strong debate from both parties today
